ReplyDelete...and guess who "Sammy Burdson" turns out to have been: Narholz. What a surprise! But man, you're right, some of these Germans could funk their brains out. Brandenburg, Jacques, Kiessling, Maldener... pheww! Monsters of da funk!
ReplyDeleteYou mean Burdson is a pseudonym of Narholz??? Haven't heard abou that so far...

ReplyDeleteGood stuff. Especially feeling side B, especially track b3 "Walk With Me". Kind of song I could hear on a good "oldies" station.
ReplyDeleteKeep up the good work, meng.
as it turns out, i was shocked to discover that Norman Candler and Walt Rockman were also some of Narholz' other pseudonyms...crazy right?!

ReplyDeleteThanks for the glorious work found within this blog. Outstanding!
Hello,
ReplyDeleteI noticed your blog today because of "April Orchestra Vol. 38 (1981) (with Yannick Top)".
I was looking for this album for along time.
It would be nice if you can share these ones too.
Because Roland Romanelli is a part of those library Lps.
April Orchestra Vol. 49 (1982) (with Yannick Top)
April Orchestra Vol. 50 (1983) (with Yannick Top)
Thanks in advance.

ReplyDeleteHi,
ReplyDeleteIn this nice blog there is an album shared called: 1978 - Pop Pulsations II
It's in this section: Standard Music Library
The first tracks is called: A1 - Gin Sling.mp3
I really want to know the composer's name of this track.
The scan of Back cover is really bad and I can not read the name of its composer.
Help me please.
Thanks.

You can check it out at http://audiovisor.blogspot.com
Hope you can have some joy there as I have here..
Thanks and see you!
Requests! I wonder if anyone can upload a Golden Ring by "Frank & The Top Ten" called "Meet the Gang," or (and this is off-topic), the 1974 Kati Kovács LP on Amiga with Juventus and Hungaria.
ReplyDeleteDear Maestro, according to the BMI Composer database, the composer's name is Czeslaw Adamowicz (GEMA). Looking at the scan, it appears this information is accurate.

Hello friends,
ReplyDeleteHere you may find some unknown tracks that I think they are from Selected Sound and Sonoton Library music albums.
I heard them before 1991 through radio and TV programs and it seems that they are composed in late 70s or early 80s.
