April Music - April Orchestra

April Music APR 38 - April Orchestra Vol. 38
(Various Artists, 1981)

An interesting release from the obscure french library 'April Music', better known as April Orchestra. This release includes some to me - completey unknown - french composers, like Guy Bonnet or Roland Romanelli. Non of those April Music libraries contain album or title descriptions, which makes it quite difficult to have an idea of the music style. Sometimes the styles are completey mixed, this LP here features some nice electronics, pop, orchestral dramatics and atmospheric grooves. I like it!

  1. Hello,

Hope you dont mind, but can you take a look at this link and let me know if you recognise these tracks and if so which library album they may be sourced from.

I have asked the chap at Library Hunt to post asking for help with this, and this is where the link is from.

  5. As a french guy, i can tell you Romain Romanelli is an "usual suspect" of the 70's/80's studio personnel and one of the pioneers of synth programming in France.
He's also co'responsible for the disco project "space".
Regarding Jannick Top, it's our french bass hero, official "Michel Berger" bassist and top of the line studio musician.

Thanks for this april orchestra. Is there a way you could have april orchestra vol 13 in the future?I'd like a good rip of this one so bad!

Are u speaking of April Orchestra présente RCA Sound Vol. 13 - with composer Puccio Roelens or the orange coloured April Orchestra Vol. 13 with Chevallier and K.H. Schafer?
Well, I have the second one on vinyl in good shape, the first one only as a bad mp3 rip... Yeah, it could be that I could get the 1st one as well.

  9. I've been searching a lot of links about all this and we can say a symphony orchestra will usually have over eighty musicians on its roster, in some cases over a hundred, but the actual number of musicians employed in a particular performance may vary according to the work being played and the size of the venue. 23jj

  10. With this history in mind, the orchestra can be seen to have a general evolution as outlined below, I think that in the theater of my city is will be a show with a similar orchestra, it think that it is really good !!22dd
